We’re a team of passionate game creators, curators, marketers and technologists with remote teams and offices in New York City and London. We are actively searching for a driven, passionate designer to join our team and play a key role supporting our marketing and product efforts. The ideal candidate will have well-rounded experience in creating compelling marketing and website assets, icons, mockups and webpages, preferably in the games industry.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Design and create website features and landing pages using Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and Drupal
- Create functional prototypes for new web designs and features in Figma
- Deliver developer-ready design files for our web development team using Figma.
- Design and create compelling graphics for our websites and social media
- Work within the context of our website’s tech stack to deliver viable web features, assets and page design
- Provide guidance and recommendations for existing website content and design
- Support website A/B testing efforts and propose design improvements
- Provide occasional support for advertising request for proposals (RFPs) by creating mockups for custom ad placements
Qualifications
- Must have a portfolio that demonstrates strong design skills using Adobe Suite products (expertise in Photoshop, InDesign, & Illustrator)
- Must have front-end web design experience
- 3-5 years design experience
- Ability to adjust style to appeal to our audience
- Understanding of mobile and desktop web UX/UI best practices, experience with designing for accessibility
- Self-starter who can work independently and manage multiple tasks / deadlines
Desired Skills/ Knowledge:
- Interest and experience in gaming industry, web browser games in particular
- Front end web development knowledge (HTML, CSS, React) preferred
- Animation experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
