Position Summary and Responsibilities:
The Dealer Account Executive will develop relationships with new independent dealers and train them on our processes. They will work hands on with their existing dealer base to complete car sales and service their account.The Dealer Account Executive joins a huge, opportunity-rich growth channel for Caramel.
Functions including:
- Cultivate new business with independent dealers nationwide
- Consult dealers and customers through any stage of a car sale, from financing to F&I to documentation to DMV work
- Manage their dealers’ car sales to ensure all process requirements are met
- Relationship development with prospective independent dealers
- Training and onboarding
- Manage existing dealer base and encourage increased volume
- Showcase the Company's products through on-line and/or on-site demonstrations with expertise
- Work with Senior Leadership and other department managers to maximize attainment of territory goals and repeat business

What You’ll Need:
- 3+ years of sales experience
- Experience in the automotive industry
- Auto finance experience at a dealership, lender, or other setting is preferred
- Demonstrated track record of growth and strong performance at prior companies
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications as well as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- Effective communication skills via any means with individuals of any level internally and externally
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong prospecting and closing skills
- Team player and listener
- Strong consultative sales skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Ability to efficiently work from a home office environment
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Currently hold or have the ability to obtain a state motor vehicle salesperson license if requested.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, with strong educational performance
Physical Requirements:
General office (including home office) environment requiring ability to:
- Sit for extended periods of time
- Speak and listen to others in person, via computerized virtual meetings, and over the phone
- Type using a keyboard and read from computer screen and reports
- Willingness and ability to travel via motor vehicle or other publicly available means
