Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and professional Legal Receptionist to join our busy law firm in San Diego. The ideal candidate will have experience in legal reception and a background in hospitality, ensuring top-notch service and efficiency in managing front-desk operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages when necessary.
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean and welcoming.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for attorneys and staff.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and data entry.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a related field, preferably in a busy law firm.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the legal industry is highly desired.
