Job Summary
The Salesforce Administrator will be responsible for the overall administration, support, and continuous improvement of our Salesforce ecosystem, which includes Salesforce CRM (SFDC) Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud platform. This role involves supporting our Stratford and IK12 division by managing user accounts, troubleshooting, maintaining data integrity, and implementing system updates.
This position requires a proactive and motivated professional with an outstanding track record in the use of Salesforce, experience in education and ability to work in a high energy, fast passed environment. This person should also possess an analytical mindset that enables one to process data and assess performance. The person in this position will use their skills and expertise while collaborating across various business functions of a high performing team. The desire to grow, learn and enhance not only the Salesforce environment, but also related business processes is extremely important.
Key Responsibilities - System Administration:
- Perform all tasks related to the day-to-day operations of the Salesforce platform.
- Maintain user roles, security settings, profiles, workflow rules, and data integrity.
- Manage Salesforce system upgrades and new releases.
- Perform Data audits and system checks
- Resolve business queries related to the platform
- Customization and Configuration:
- Customize Salesforce applications to meet the needs of business users.
- Create and maintain custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, and page layouts.
- Develop and manage complex flows, process builders, and approval processes.
- Perform data uploads when needed.
- Data Management:
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular data audits, data cleansing, and de-duplication activities.
- Import, export, and update data as needed.
- Develop and maintain data governance policies.
- User Support and Training:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for user inquiries and issues.
- Able to demonstrate and teach to others most of the software capabilities
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Create and manage complex reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to business leaders.
- Work with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver customized solutions.
- Project Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Document and maintain system processes, policies, and procedures.
- Strategic Initiatives:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive implementation.
- Stay current with Salesforce trends, best practices, and new features.
- Advocate for the effective use of Salesforce to drive business success.
Qualifications
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (Advanced Administrator Certification preferred).
- 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
- Expert in Salesforce customization and configuration.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce best practices and functionality.
- Experience with data management and governance.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Troubleshoot software errors and implement fixes or work with third party vendors to correct the issues. This includes work in Salesforce functionality using APEX, Lightning or web services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Certification
- Familiarity with integration tools and third-party applications.
