The Opportunity
Xivic is looking for a Digital Project Manager, who would be responsible for guiding development and marketing projects through their respective cycles from conception through go-live utilizing agile project management strategies. You would work with clients to assess and meet diverse objectives including demanding timelines, platform requirements, Ux/Ui design, reporting needs, project testing and budget. You would also manage a global resource team to determine the correct tools to satisfy the client’s unique business requirements.
Collaboration is key for Xivic, so you’ll also be working closely with our User Experience, SEO, paid marketing, and Development teams to ensure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule to make the digital magic happen. The role allows for hands-on experience with a variety of web platforms, mobile (iOS and Android), eCommerce platforms and social integration. We are looking for applicants who are self-motivated and have excellent communication skills. You should have the ability to see the big picture and ask questions, as well as laser in on details.
This is a remote role for U.S. based candidates with team members throughout North America in Pacific, Central, and Eastern time zones.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage and lead multiple projects through project development, execution, launch, and performance optimization
- Effectively manage multiple competing projects with shifting priorities
- Accountable for day-to-day project support for multiple project plans and teams working on the various work areas
- Effectively communicate project status and manage expectations of team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Provide monthly/quarterly/ad-hoc reports of relevant metrics, insights, and recommendations. Presented in Google Sheets and/or Google Slides.
- Review project team deliverables to ensure quality and adherence to internal standards, as well as regulatory requirements
- Develop strong relationships with customers to understand their needs, to anticipate obstacles to success, and to advocate internally on their behalf
- Regularly track projects, manage project risks and impact of changes, provide mitigation plans and proactively manage escalation of issues to appropriate stakeholders
- Run ad hoc reports and develop standard reports in order to establish metrics for teams and to ensure performance against metrics is tracked, measured, and socialized on a regular basis
- Analyze trends and consolidate data/information for review with primary stakeholders to drive data-based decisions
- Work collaboratively with all teams to ensure workload is appropriately assigned and resource constraints are identified
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with associates, providers of goods and services, and industry partners
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, marketing, communications, or general business or equivalent education
- 3+ years of client or project management - including strategy development, execution, and client relationship management
- 1+ year agency experience in the same or similar role
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and organize while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment - will always follow up and follow through
- Ability to balance administrative functions, including information collection, planning, organizing while efficiently utilizing resources
- Experience in project management tools like ActiveCollab, Jira, Confluence, BaseCamp, Monday, etc. and a demonstrated understanding of project management methodologies
