Job Description
- As Delivery Program Manager for SaaS based Business Applications (Microsoft Dynamics 365 and ServiceNow) implementation projects, you’ll collaborate extensively with the passionate certified experts on the technical delivery services teams (onshore, nearshore, and offshore) and engage with client stakeholders throughout the program life cycle. Your responsibilities will include program leadership, resource planning, and ensuring program profitability during the implementation and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and ServiceNow solutions. Leveraging Microsoft project management tools and implementation methodologies, as well as industry best practices, you’ll guide successful projects across diverse industry verticals such as telecom, retail, BFSI, Hitech manufacturing.
The Opportunity
- Act as a trusted adviser and Business Applications program delivery management SME to clients in an implementation and support projects.
- Responsible for delivering the required outcomes from the client program delivery, from mobilization and initiation through to execution and closure.
- Planning and designing the program and proactively monitoring its overall progress, resolving issues, and initiating corrective action as appropriate
- Defining the program’s organization and internal governance framework
- Ensuring the integrity of the program – focusing inwardly on the internal consistency of the program and outwardly on its coherence with infrastructure planning, interfaces with other programs and corporate technical and specialist standards
- Managing the program’s budget, monitoring costs against benefits (profit) realized as the program progresses.
- Ensuring projects deliver and meet requirements to the appropriate quality, time, and budget criteria, in accordance with the client Program Plan (including the program schedule) and program governance arrangements.
- Ensuring maximum efficiency in the allocation of resources and skills within the projects/work streams
- Designs program and cross workstream organization structure & resourcing
- Identifies and manages Inter-workstream dependencies, risks and issues.
- Prioritizes deliverables, integrating schedules across work streams & managing cross project dependencies.
- Create and manage formal project governance, including the integrated Project Plan, Communication Plan, Roles and Responsibilities, and Risk & Mitigation.
- Develop project scope and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders to ensure feasible and achievable deliverables.
- Track progress, manage, and report on program status.
- Track and manage budget.
- Manage Integrated master project program schedule.
- Work closely with the customer’s Program Manager and functional team
- Work with the customer’s Program Manager and the customer’s functional teams to communicate the interdependencies (i.e., tasks, issues, and decisions) that are the customer’s responsibility to complete.

- Drive the risk management process.
- Facilitate communication and negotiation within the team.
- Manage resource allocation and technical project managers within the program.
- Identifies and resolving escalations.
- Co-chairs the Change Control Board
- Participates in Architecture Review Board (ARB) & Executive Steering Committee
- Manage the solution scope and critical trade-off decisions.
- Coordinate work product and deliverable development, QA & delivery to the customer
- Establish and implement the program management processes.
- Review work stream teams, tasks and work products and deliverables for feasibility, quality of work, timeliness/working to the plan and estimates, etc.
- Managing third-party contributions to the client programs
- Managing the communications with stakeholders
- Managing the dependencies and interfaces between projects
- Managing risks to the client program’s successful outcome
- Initiating extra activities and other management interventions wherever gaps in the client program are identified or issues arise.
- Reporting progress of the client program at regular intervals
- Provide post implementation and support activities as needed.
- Assist with pre-sales activities (proposal response, estimations, presentation, webinar, blog, etc.)
What You Need
- Experience in working at a client’s site.
- At least ten years of complex program and project management experience in SaaS based Business Applications implementation and consulting industry.
- At least five years of demonstrated knowledge and experience with managing initiatives for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/ERP and ServiceNow
- Successful completion of managing and leading one complete full lifecycle Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/ERP and ServiceNow implementation project.
- Ability to organize and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience managing both onsite and geographically disbursed project consulting teams.
