Makur Marketing is looking for a creative and skilled Social Media Designer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for creating original content on behalf of our portfolio of clients (across social media and other digital channels) that attracts, engages, and converts core audiences.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Create visually appealing and on-brand graphics for social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Produce high-quality images, infographics, videos, and other visual content for both organic and paid social media campaigns.
- Design other marketing assets including landing pages, e-mails, web banners, etc. with a focus on balancing client objectives and branding while also prioritizing UX.
- Ensure all visual content is optimized for each platform and adheres to established client brand guidelines.
- Collaborate internally to conceptualize and execute creative ideas that align with clients’ marketing strategies and objectives.
- Stay updated on social media trends, design tools, and best practices to continuously improve and innovate our social media content.
- Manage multiple projects and deliver designs within tight deadlines.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of content to optimize designs based on data-driven insights.
- Use analytics to measure KPIs. Prepare reporting for client review that demonstrates campaign performance and evaluate for areas of improvement.

Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience as a Visual/Graphic Designer with a strong background in social media design and marketing.
- A BA in design or a related field.
- Experience creating and managing visual content for social media platforms (including LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and TikTok).
- Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- A proven history of design fundamentals (including typography, color theory, brand adherence, and critical thinking about creative application).
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to clearly and effectively discuss projects.
- Successful experience partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to keep track of multiple concurrent deliverables and meet project deadlines.
- Ability to successfully communicate and collaborate with remote team members.
- Must have a rich, online portfolio of previous work.
