Uniden is looking for a multifaceted digital artist to join its growing marketing department. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller who is comfortable working on different types of projects, including print, video, and web. You will play a pivotal role in communicating our brand identity and messaging to engage our target audience across various platforms. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a collaborative environment, be self-motivated, and pursue Uniden’s ultimate business objectives. This position is only onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design visually appealing graphics for various channels, including social media, product packaging, website UI/UX, social media, print advertisements, etc.
- Write compelling copy to accompany visual assets and ensure messaging is consistent with brand voice.
- Create engaging video content for our social media channels and other outlets to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.
- Adheres to brand guidelines to maintain consistency across all platforms
- Self-manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- Effectively participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas and concepts
- Coordinate with external vendors or agencies as needed for related projects
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in graphic design
Requirements:
- Proven skills as a Graphic Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio
- Understanding of the printing pipeline (color management to printing profiles)
- Proficiency in general video production
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere)
- Comfortable embracing AI art generation
- Solid understanding of typography, color management, color theory, layout, and design principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
