A construction company is looking for a Project Manager with 3+ years of Project Management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage construction projects from tender award to completion
Manage financial aspects of contracts, including progress billings prepared and submitted in a timely manner
Ensure budgets and forecasts are completed on time, consistent and accurate
Reviews and understands contract obligations as per the responsible work scope
Maintains and performs project document control and procedures [RFI’s, shop drawings and submittals process including, Purchase Orders (PO), Change Events (CE), Potential Change Orders (PCO), Contract Change Orders (CCO)[AS1]
Assists in overall construction coordination and planning
Prepares and tracks progress claims and quotations
Strong computer skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills, fluent in English
Excellent time management skills
Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
Manage the relationship with the clients
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Review shop drawings and consultant’s drawings and arrange pre-drawing meetings with the architect and PM. Visit the project site on a regular basis to conduct site inspections for quality control and ensure project deliverables are on schedule. Keep a daily log of site activities, descriptions of work, weather, and safety hazards or issues.
Supervise, mentor, coach, and train project personnel to promote a team atmosphere.
