Role Description
The Data Analyst will work remotely on a contract basis. The role involves being assigned to one or more customer accounts and managing all the data and insights for the digital content including (but not limited to):
- Website and website content including Blog postings
- Social media properties
- Video properties including YouTube
- Organic search
- Orchestrated email campaigns
Specific Tasks
For each assigned customer account:
- Define the monthly marketing metrics including KPIs that demonstrate ongoing and campaign focused metric results and performance,
- Work with team members on strategies and improvements needed to improve results,
- Provide a wholistic dashboard with relevant information on the relevant platform (e.g. HubSpot if the customer is utilizing HubSpot) including the incorporation of data from other sources (e.g. GA).
- Attend customer meetings and provide performance readouts, explaining the insights and stories derived from the data and presented on the dashboards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Skills in Media Planning and Marketing
- Strong Communication skills
- Experience with New Media and cutting-edge communication strategies
- Excellent research skills
- Marketing agency experience a must/ pre-requisite, specifically B2B agencies
- Experience with data visualization platforms including Google Data Studio, HubSpot, Tableau, and Power BI
- Knowledge and understanding of industry benchmarks (e.g. email metric performance norms)
- Experience with keywork and organic content SEO optimization using platforms such as SEMRush and Ahrefs
- Ability to put together client meaningful insights and stories supported by the data, and what the data is explaining.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Experience in the manufacturing industry and familiarity with associated terminology is a plus
