Primary Responsibility: Support Account Executives across a multitude of client deliverables.
The Account Coordinator, in conjunction with the Account team, will serve as a secondary client contact and coordinate campaign schedules, components, and other tasks required for campaign launch and post-campaign wrap-up. As you understand the client’s business, you will begin to build analytic and interpretive skills to contribute insights.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist Account Executives in implementing direct mail and digital campaigns.
- Work with the Account Executives and Project Manager to develop and manage timetables.
- Coordinate the development and execution of campaign components with Production staff.
- Work with Account Executives to develop processes for quality control, delivery of campaign components, schedules, budgets, etc.
- Assist Account Executives with creative approval and proofreading.
- Assist in the development of direct mail and digital campaigns.
- Maintain and create tracking documents for all campaigns and clients.
- Coordinate and manage logistics of client meetings (i.e., issue invites and agendas/call-in instructions, ensure participants are up to date) and other administrative tasks as required.
- Effectively interact with clients and other Carl Bloom Associates departments, such as creative, studio, traffic, operations, and accounting.
Skills/Requirements:
- BA/BS Degree and at least 2-5 years of experience in an agency setting preferred.
- Similar agency experience is preferred but not necessary.
- Knowledge of or interest in direct marketing and nonprofit organizations.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with a good sense of time management.
- Ability to follow through on tasks and be detail-oriented.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively and comfortably communicate and interact with clients and vendors.
- Strong proofreading skills are a plus.
- Sense of urgency in responding promptly to all client and internal requests.
- Ability to leverage multiple sources for requested information.
- Strong Google Apps, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
