Job Brief:

Continuum is seeking a skilled Lead QA Engineer to join our agile & dynamic team. As the Lead QA Engineer, you will be responsible for pioneering our official QA processes, overseeing the quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle, and ensuring that our products are delivered with the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and translate them into effective test strategies and plans. This role involves hands-on coding, continuous learning, and reporting directly to the CTO.

Requirements & Skills

● BS in Computer Science or equivalent

● Strong knowledge of software QA lifecycle, methodologies and tools

● Experience establishing and coordinating test strategies

● Experience building automated tests for web applications

● Experience building & using RESTful services and APIs

● Experience working with SQL databases

● Experience document product & internal processes

● Working knowledge of JIRA & GIT

● Experience with deployment scripts

● Test Driven Development (TDD) experience

● Great communication skills in technical concepts and solutions

● Pilot new technologies, architectures and ideas and bring them back to the team

● Ability to jump into code, work, and leave it better than when you first started

● Enjoys working in a highly feedback-oriented team setting

● 5+ years of professional experience in software testing (Python, JavaScript, Java, C# or equivalent)

● A shared belief in open communication with both your team and clients

Responsibilities

● Responsible for fully testing new product & feature releases with both onshore and offshore support

● Design and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to thoroughly validate software applications.

● Design and build automated tests of the full core product suite

● Coordinate with both onshore and offshore development teams to identify and resolve software defects.

● Collaborate with Product to ensure requirements are well-defined and testable

● Provide insightful feedback to Product & Development on system performance and bottlenecks

● Track Quality Assurance metrics such as accuracy & defect density

● Provide support for development/staging/production environments

● Create and maintain documentation for all testing systems, processes & plans.

Preferred Qualifications

● Experience with ERPs & ERP integrations

● Experience testing highly configurable software

● Experience building streamlined automated tests for a multi-tenant system
