As a Quick Quack Car Wash graphic designer, you will use your knowledge of typography, color, layout, design and image manipulation to create visually appealing designs that clearly communicate our core product offerings to customers.
In addition to our design team, you will work closely with our creative director, project managers, copywriter and marketing team to produce world-class assets for print, digital and social while ensuring all deliverables maintain a consistent high-level look and feel for our brand.
Responsibilities
You will interpret briefs, collaborate with the design team, and take direction from upper management in an effort to create engaging designs for print, digital and social. You will be responsible for generating design concepts, executing revisions, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

- Design creative for print, digital and social so that information is easy to find, read, and understand. Solid experience with design hierarchy is important.
- Gather all relevant facts for each project and ensure that all deliverables communicate the correct information. Time management is a must.
- Generate clear ideas, concepts, and designs of creative assets from beginning to end with quick turnaround times.
- Work collaboratively with other designer to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception. Consistency is important to us!
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team that includes marketers, creative director, and product managers in order to create compelling designs that stay within our brand guidelines.
- Translate information from internal stakeholders and customers into designs that are visually enticing, easy to understand, and emotionally impactful.
- Stay on top of the latest standards, processes, and trends in the visual design field. Be a good marketer!
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in graphic design or a related field, or significant equivalent experience.
- A strong portfolio that showcases aesthetic awareness and design problem solving abilities.
- A high level of proficiency using Adobe products like InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain design decisions in words and writing.
- The ability to receive, interpret, and implement constructive feedback from project stakeholders into your design work.
- An appreciation for and awareness of emerging design trends in print and digital.
- Able to learn new tools and processes quickly and work in a fast-evolving environment.
- Must be able to comp together items in photoshop.
- Ability to illustrate and manipulate vector drawings is a must.
- Must be able to problem solve on the fly when changes come in.
