We are seeking an enthusiastic Japanese-speaking intern who thrives in fast-paced, challenging environments to join our Panel Marketing Team. If you are passionate about solving complex problems and enjoy being part of a collaborative team, then this role is perfect for you!
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns to attract participants for various international studies. You will work closely with the panel marketing, operations, and research teams to understand study requirements and target audiences, and then use your expertise to drive successful recruitment outcomes.
This is a high-priority, paid position, and we are looking for candidates available to start immediately. The internship duration is two months, full-time duration.
This position is 100% remote, and, although you can work from anywhere, this will require at least 3 hours per day of overlap with the US Eastern time zone.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns in Japanese to recruit native Japanese speakers for studies.
- Identify target audiences and devise digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate them to participate.
- Create compelling content for social media, email, and other digital channels to attract potential participants.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, and adjust strategies as needed to meet recruitment goals.
- Track performance against spends to ensure optimisation of campaigns adhering to budget available.
- Continually work on identifying success parameters to prove ROI and leverage learnings to inform future strategies.
- Identify and surface concerns, bottlenecks, or issues in advance to inform the team to resolve them in real time, to ensure recruitment goals are met.
- Collaborate with the panel marketing and operations teams to understand demographic and other requirements and ensure alignment of recruitment efforts.
- Coordinate with external partners, such as advertising agencies or media outlets, or recruitment partners to maximize recruitment reach.
- Work closely with operations team in audio and script review process for the Japanese recordings and scripts.
Basic Qualifications:
- Native or bilingual proficiency in Japanese
- Professional fluency in English
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Graduated in 2023 or expected to graduate in 2024
- Strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
- Experience managing social media campaigns, email marketing, and other digital channels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable utilizing emerging technologies and various software systems
- Familiarity with Google Docs, Google Sheets, or similar tools
- Knowledge of research study recruitment practices is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in spreadsheet applications like Google Sheets or Excel
- Adaptability to evolving and ambiguous work environments
- Prior experience working in digital marketing, with a focus on recruitment or advertising is a plus
