Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role as a Senior Social Media Manager at Edit Media Group in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves overseeing the social media strategies, content development, and community engagement for several health / wellness clients on our roster.
Responsibilities
- Create, develop, and execute social media strategy for clients; including but not limited to growth ideas, content ideation /creation, best practices, campaign/ launch concepts, and overall suggestions to stay proactive with all accounts
- Build out Client calendars inclusive of strategy, creative ideation, copywriting, best practices and more
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, inclusive of prompt and thoughtful communication
- Report on Client analytics, drawing conclusions and action items from the data. Regularly review and adjust social media strategies based on performance metrics and changing business goals
- Create content for Clients as applicable, including IRL content capture or at home
- Collaborate in the Client photoshoot process - inclusive of ideation, mood boards, sourcing props, scouting locations
- Stay on top of platform updates, best practices and trends; relaying all relevant information to Clients in a timely manner
- Oversee and delegate appropriate tasks to the Account Coordinator, ensuring their output is reflective of high quality work. Develop and coach Account Coordinator, reporting progress to upper management
- Spearhead and / or monitor internal communication and task delegation, ensuring all requests are clear and that timelines are being hit
Qualifications
- Proven experience in social media management, content strategy, and brand development
- *Senior title is dependent on experience level
- Demonstrated success in creating engaging social media content and campaigns
- Strong analytical skills to interpret social media metrics and implement improvements
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to collaborate with internal teams and clients
- Knowledge of the latest trends in social media marketing and familiarity with social media management tools
- Team player who works well both collaboratively and autonomously
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Keen eye for detail and aesthetic; graphic design and photography skills a plus
- Ability to manage and delegate tasks
