Description
The Billing specialist will oversee and manage all costumer contractual agreements and will be involved in drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and maintaining contracts to support the company's logistics operations and financial goals. Key communication will happen between the specialist, operations, and our customers to ensure that customer contracts are updated according to the services provided. This role will require meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a strong understanding of contract management within a niche area of warehousing and logistics. This role will be reporting to the company's Corporate Controller.
Requirements
Handle Service Contracts:
- Draft, Update, and Review Customer Contracts on a as needed basis
- Maintain and implement a contract management system to track and update service contracts
- Ensure timely renewals and amendments of service contracts
Coordinate with Departments
- Work with operations, and finance teams to understand the services being provided to our customers
- Ensure internal stakeholders needs are reflected in service/cost agreements
- Up to 10% travel on a as needed basis
Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare reports on contract status and updates for senior management
- Maintain proper documentation and archiving of all service contracts
- Identify and mitigate risks in contractual terms and conditions
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree preferred in business administration or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in contract management, preferably within warehousing industry or related field
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft office suite
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple service contracts simultaneously
