We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining all project documentation, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with industry standards. This role is critical in supporting our project teams and ensuring the smooth flow of information across all phases of our projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and control all project documentation, including drawings, specifications, contracts, and correspondence.
- Ensure all documents are properly filed, stored, and easily accessible to project teams.
- Implement and maintain document control procedures and systems to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Track and manage document revisions, ensuring that the most current versions are available to all stakeholders.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to facilitate the exchange of information.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure document accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Document Controller in the construction or architecture/planning industry.
- Strong understanding of document control processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in document management software and systems.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with industry-specific documentation standards and requirements.
