Ayraa has spent over two years building a robust platform based on extensive market research & feedback. We are seeing early signs of product market fit - and investing in a sales organization starting with this role.
About the role
This role is a unique opportunity to join the stage zero of an SF Bay rocketship poised for take-off - as the first sales AE.
Your primary goal will be to spend the first 6+ months as a one-person SDR & Hunter-Closer - building pipeline and closing our first several deals alongside the co-founder/CEO.
In addition, as the founding AE in a seed-stage tech-heavy startup, this role provides (and requires) an ability to wear multiple hats. You will help pick and shape modern sales ops stacks, work frequently on growth/marketing projects, research users & customers, guide our product roadmap, and have an accelerated path toward sales leadership. We are looking for someone who naturally and effortlessly shifts between prospecting, nurturing, and closing sales - while keeping the sales CRM up to date.
In particular, we are looking for an always-on, extroverted, high-energy hustler who loves the thrill of chasing/nurturing as much as hunting & closing.
Job Description
We are looking for a highly driven & entrepreneurial Account Executive to join our team in the SF Bay area. The position involves working closely with the co-founder/CEO. The role will primarily require prospecting and generating demos with technology and knowledge-worker industry companies ranging from 100 to 1000 employees ($10K+ ACV minimum). The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of sales experience, ideally within the tech industry.
Responsibilities / What you'll do
- Prospect potential customers via emails, LinkedIn InMails, and social media
- Reach out to C-Suite and managers from targeted accounts
- Generate & run demos jointly hosted with the co-founder/CEO
- Maintain frequent sync with the engineering team & co-founders on customer asks & updates
- Passionately & frequently follow up on leads and maintain contact with potential customers
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities
- Meet or exceed weekly and monthly sales goals
- Participate in daily sales huddles and shape sales strategies
- Provide accurate data entry and reporting
Qualifications / What you bring
- #1 requirement is to have the insatiable drive to wake up daily and prospect, nurture, and close
- Work startup hours along with the co-founders & other founding team members
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- At least 2 years of sales experience, ideally in the tech industry & selling to medium-size accounts ($5K-$25K ACV)
- Strong references and proven ability to exceed quota
