Position Overview: As a Trade Operations and/or Settlement Software Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our web-based software application used by trade operations and settlement professionals. Leveraging your industry knowledge, technical expertise, and communication skills, you will assist in providing technical support, troubleshoot issues, and enhanced user experience.
Responsibilities:
· Serve as a point of contact for technical support related to our web-based software application used in trade operations and settlement.
· Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by users, including software bugs, performance issues, and data discrepancies.
· Collaborate with software developers and product managers to escalate and prioritize issues for resolution.
· Maintain support documentation, including FAQs and troubleshooting guides, to assist users in resolving common issues independently.
· Assist with client onboarding process, including software configuration, user training, and data migration.
· Utilize Microsoft SQL Server for data analysis, troubleshooting, and supporting software functionality.
Qualifications:
· Strong industry knowledge of trade operations and/or settlement processes within the financial services sector is mandatory.
· Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with users at all levels of the organization.
· Technical background with experience supporting web-based software applications.
· Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server for data analysis, troubleshooting, and supporting software functionality.
· Experience managing new client onboarding processes, including software configuration and user training.
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
