Responsibilities:
1.User Research-Gaming Market:
- Conduct interviews or events to gather insights and feedback from users.
- Help analyze data collected from user research to identify trends and preferences.
- Assist in fostering the gaming community to build and maintain relationships with players, identify feedback within the community and provide insights and recommendations to the developer team. (can be discussed)
2.Localization Work-Gaming Market:
- Assist in gaming related translation efforts to adapt content for the American market, ensure accuracy and cultural relevance in all translated materials.
- Provide insights on the target market (America) culture, including current trends, hot news, and cultural specialties.
- Provide support for other localization tasks as needed. (can be discussed)
Requirements:
1. 1-2 years of user research work experience
2. Experience working in a gaming company or collaborating with Chinese enterprises is preferred
3.Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Marketing, Literature,Cultural Studies, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
2.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. The pronunciation in English is clear, with standard English pronunciation being ideal.
3.Hold an understanding of the nature and preferences of players in the target markets, especially players of match-3 puzzle games or other casual games, is preferred.
4.Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and candidates with data analysis skills or familiarity with related software are preferred.
The pre-tax hourly wage for this position is $20 to $30 per hour, negotiable.
