About Dization
At Dization, our mission is to bring the benefits of data analytics and big data to small businesses. We help small businesses and startups save time, money, and missed opportunities by consolidating data and turning it into useful business knowledge on its online, easy-to-use business hub.
Dization is founded by two Pittsburgh-based engineers who are passionate about helping small businesses thrive. As a recent Pittsburgh start up, we’ve just begun helping businesses with our Dization Hub, and we’re poised to reach out to a much wider audience that struggles with the information in their business giving them less confidence in how they run their business. Dization is the Small Business Operating System.
About the Position
In order to get our message out to the small business community, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Digital Marketing Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will be a driven, ambitious individual who wants to create a career in digital marketing. This individual will work directly with the two co-founders to help craft the digital messaging for Dization, while gaining excellent digital marketing experience.
This position is flexible and able to work with the intern’s skill set and desired learnings. Ultimately, they will gain broad experience in digital marketing and will be better prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment upon internship completion. Here are the following key activities that will be included in this internship:
- Supporting the management of Dization social media campaigns
- Creating new social media, reuse/repurpose existing social media Content
- Creating social media posts and responding to mentions on Dization social media platforms
- Creating and managing email newsletters and other electronic correspondence
- Creating reports about the effectiveness of social media content and campaigns, including clickthrough rates, conversions, and other measurements of success in easily trackable trending dashboard format

Qualifications
Minimum requirements
- Currently pursuing a BA/BS or MA/MS Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism or related degrees.
- Minimum GPA - 3.0
