12+ years of Technology experience and demonstrated experience as a S
olution Architect for multiple projects that utilize a mix of legacy and cloud native technologies.
Technology Experience
- Strong experience using container technologies preferably VMware Tanzu (previously Pivotal Cloud Foundry) or experience with Kubernetes based container technologies like OpenShift and AWS EKS.
- Prior development background building enterprise scale Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Spring Cloud services on multiple end-to-end projects.
- Prior experience in modernizing legacy applications, migrating monolithic code to microservices architectures, performance tuning and application monitoring, conducting cost benefit, risk analysis.
- Working experience using NoSQL technologies like DynamoDB , relational databases like Oracle, Postgres.
- Knowledge of design standards especially Swagger and OpenAPI 3.0, REST API design best practices for microservices like versioning, resource naming standards etc.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with API security standards and implementation (LDAP, OAuth 2.0/JWT, OpenID, SAML, ClientID/Secret, 2-way SSL).
- Knowledge and experience with CI/CD tools, frameworks and methodologies namely Jenkins, maven, jira, ServiceNow, GitHub, Cucumber, Gatling or other LST, SonarQube, Veracode, Junit, Blue/Green etc.
- Implementation experience in Domain Driven Design, BDD/TDD.
- Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Lean Startup, XP) and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers, Business Analysts)
- Experience with Event driven platforms like Apache Kafka, Confluent Kafka and messaging technologies like IBM MQ, AWS SQS etc.
Healthcare Work Experience (preferred)
- Understanding EDI transactions (270,276,278,837,835,820,834), X12 data formats, secure file transfers, Edifecs.
- Understanding of health payer regulations such as HIPAA, Interoperability exchange formats like HL7 and FHIR.
- Experience in healthcare industry and domain expertise in one or more of claims, Enrollment, Eligibility, Referrals and Authorizations is a plus.
