Your Reformer is a new and exciting brand, delivering the reformer pilates studio experience to clients in their homes, as well as commercial installs. Your role as the Logistics Coordinator is integral to ensuring the smooth flow of resources by overseeing the routing, and delivering or posting of reformers and small merchandise items. You will lead the team in the process of unpacking and packing of reformer beds onto delivery trucks, ensuring you have all items for each delivery and confirming delivery schedule. You will then ensure Your Reformer clients receive their goods as per our ‘valet service’ promise. You will also coordinator the picking and packing and sending of small merchandise items to customers.
As you will assist in the coordination of the deliveries and leading the team, you will also be required to assist with preventative maintenance and servicing arrangements also. Safety is paramount to this role, ensuring all manual handling procedures are followed at all times, and all OH&S procedures including road and safety are adhered to.
You will need to have a great way with people, and excellent customer service skills to uphold our company brand and values. A positive, proactive attitude is a must!
A high level of physical fitness is essential as equipment (reformer beds) lifting will be an integral part of this role.
Full car licence and own transport is essential. Forklift licence also a requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist logistics movements including inbound, outbound and warehousing to support the operational needs of the business
- Advocating and ensuring safety compliance in all aspects of our transport operations
- Careful pre-packing, loading, and unloading of products
- Leading a team for picking and packing and deliveries
- Prepare warehouse for delivery runs each morning
- Assist with stocktake and reporting
- Comply with laws, regulations and OHS requirements
- Maintenance on beds when applicable and managing maintenance register
- Liaising with customers to confirm delivery runs
- Effectively manage and schedule resources to meet dispatch commitments
- Support training new team members
- Data entry into warehouse management systems
- Ongoing Waste management
- Packing and shipping orders
- Delivery of stock to our other business locations when required
- Promotes and practices safe work habits
- Maintains a clean well-merchandised warehouse
- Maintenance coordination
- Complying with traffic laws, and safe use of equipment/driving van/etc.
- Understake project work as assigned
About your Skill-Set & Experience
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics/supply chain
- Strong Microsoft suite skills
- A hands-on leader with clear communication and direction
- Strong sense of urgency
- Exceptional time management skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- The ability to think on your feet
- Car licence with clean driving record
- Experience in the gym/furniture removals industry a plus
- Forklift licence advantageous
- High level of professionalism
