Responsibilities:
1. Planning and Coordination:
- Maintain an online tracking system for each competition stage, providing regular updates.
- Ensure all competitions adhere to relevant guidelines, regulations, and frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to secure necessary resources and services for events.
- Support award ceremonies and special activities during events.
- Provide on-site operational support, including team needs management, check-ins, game scheduling, and coordination of support staff.
- Monitor event progress, promptly addressing any arising issues or concerns.
2. Communication and Follow-up:
- Standardize communication of competition details, deadlines, and regulations to stakeholders.
- Assist in the registration processes of clubs, including preparation of circular letters, registration forms, team registration, and nomination letters, and support digital information collection systems.
3. Club Player Eligibility Control:
- Manage player data entry and updates.
- Ensure compliance with internal regulations, competition regulations, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Issue FIBA player A & B licenses.
- Collaborate closely with the Player Eligibility Sr. Coordinator and the Legal team in Switzerland.
4. Support the FIBA MAP Information system
- Enter/update eligibility and player data in the FIBA MAP.
- Manage competition data in the FIBA MAP.
- Provide daily updates of eligibility, competition, and calendar data in the FIBA MAP, including pre-game technical meetings.
- Approve player licenses.
5. Evaluation and Reporting
- Compile and analyze competition results
- Provide feedback to participants and clubs to support their growth and development
- Identify areas for improvement and implement changes for future competitions.
6. Administrative Tasks:
- Preparation, administration, production, and dispatch of documents: registration forms, circular letters, regulations, deadlines circulars
- Maintain accurate records of registrations, results, and feedback.
- Handle inquiries and resolve issues related to competitions promptly.
- Assist in budget management and expense tracking for club competitions.

Education, Experience & Personal Characteristics:
- Bachelor's degree in sports management, event management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in event planning, coordination, and execution, preferably in the sports industry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Fully Bilingual - English and Spanish required, both spoken and written. Please note part of your interview will be conducted in Spanish.
- Capability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
- Travel (40%)
