About the Role:
As the Content Editor you will be responsible for the quality of the content that is created for clients. We're looking for a detail-oriented, SEO-knowledgeable individual with a talent for turning complex subjects into compelling content. While the primary responsibility is editing, this role will also be expected to write multiple articles each month. With so many different clients, you will get experience writing and editing a wide range of topics for both B2B and B2C clients.
Content Editing:
- Collaborate closely with LOCOMOTIVE’s Content Manager to strategize and execute on SEO-optimized content plans.
- Maintain editorial excellence by editing, proofreading, and fact-checking content for SEO considerations, brand consistency, and overall accuracy.
- Review and critique content from freelancers and internal team members to ensure alignment with best SEO practices.
- Conduct systematic content audits to optimize existing material for search engine performance.
Content Creation:
- Translate intricate or specialized topics into engaging, SEO-optimized content for various platforms, such as blogs, product pages, category pages, and landing pages.
- Perform thorough keyword research to inform content creation, ensuring SEO best practices are consistently applied.
- Adapt writing to different audience profiles, from B2B stakeholders to everyday consumers.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of professional experience in both content writing and editing
- Understanding of SEO techniques and best practices relevant to content
- Exceptional writing skills with a strong attention to detail
- Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines efficiently
