Overview: The Design Development and Integration Branch (DDIB) is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to manage and implement system enhancements and new systems or applications. DDIB is engaged in multiple Statements of Works (SOWs) at various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with an expected increase in projects due to new contracts and value-add options. The Senior Business Analyst will play a critical role in overseeing long-term projects and managing the transition of completed projects for ongoing maintenance.
Position
- Oversee and implement system enhancements and new systems.
- Manage approximately 15-20 long-term projects, including recent and upcoming SOWs.
- Ensure successful completion of the SDLC process and assist with project transition planning.
Responsibilities
- Work on Statements of Works (SOWs) from initial review to Detailed Design Document (DDD) review.
- Handle a diverse range of projects, including Summer EBT, WIC integration, SNAP LPD, and more.
- Coordinate with other DES branches and stakeholders to execute projects.
- Manage and monitor project transitions to other branches for ongoing maintenance.
- Provide leadership and oversight for both state employees and contractor positions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing multiple long-term projects within the SDLC framework.
- Proven ability to oversee and implement system enhancements and new applications.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills.
- Ability to work with state and federal partners on various program options.
