PR Intern (Seniors and Master Students)
Overview: DLMG is an independent full-service entertainment and media firm specializing in Talent Management, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, and Multimedia. We work with both industry-renowned and emerging talent. We proudly represent a diverse roster, including actors, content creators, influencers, DJs, media personalities, models, directors, writers, stylists, makeup artists, hair stylists, dancers, and athletes.
DLMG is seeking a PR Intern to join our dynamic team. This role offers hands-on experience in public relations, working with some of the hottest talent globally. Interns will receive college credit upon successful completion of the internship. Reporting to the CEO and PR Manager, interns also have the opportunity to receive compensation after the third month if they consistently meet and exceed performance requirements.
Functions:
- Assist in the creation and distribution of press releases and media pitches.
- Support the PR team in organizing and executing media events and press conferences.
- Monitor media coverage and compile reports for clients and internal teams.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential media opportunities.
- Manage and update media contact databases.
- Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with media contacts.
- Collaborate with the marketing and talent teams to ensure cohesive communication strategies.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative PR campaigns and strategies.
Requirements:
- Currently a senior or master’s student pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Minimum GPA of 2.5.
- At least 1 year of experience in an office setting.
- Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling press releases, pitches, and other PR materials.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe, and Monday.
- Experienced with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, SnapChat, Twitter).
- Proficiency in AI tools and applications.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to learn.
