Role Description
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Marketing and Social Media Intern to join our team as we prepare to hold an exciting event, the UAAD Art Festival, in New York City. As a Marketing and Social Media Intern at UAAD, you will be responsible for assisting in developing and implementing social media strategies, creating engaging content, and analyzing campaign performance. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media management, and content creation within the art and design industry. This is a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and executing social media strategies to increase engagement and reach on platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Create and schedule compelling and visually appealing social media content, including posts, stories, reels, and videos.
- Support email marketing campaigns, including drafting content, managing contact lists, and tracking performance metrics.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and opportunities for growth.
- Assist with the creation of promotional materials, press releases, and media kits.
- Analyze and report on the performance of social media and marketing efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of social media platforms and strategies
- Creativity and a passion for art and design
- Marketing or communications background is a plus
