Who We Are Looking For
Avantia Law is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to be the owner and guardian of quality data across Avantia's business databases. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis and possess a passion for working with data. You will be responsible for data hygiene, analysing & presenting findings, and supporting data-driven decision-making processes within Avantia.
This is a hybrid role, with a minimum commitment to being present in the office (London SE1) at least one day a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, and analyse data from various sources to support business operations and decision-making.
- Present data findings through reports, dashboards, and visualisations to communicate insights effectively to the leadership team.
- Assist in developing and maintaining data systems and databases, including client, business operations, sales & marketing and financial data.
- Collaborate with different departments to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity through diligent checking and validation processes.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data sets and provide actionable recommendations.
- Support ad-hoc data analysis requests and projects as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Relevant post university experience within data analysis (Ideally 2+ years experience)
- Comfortable handling large amounts of data with the ability to tell anomalies, trends and ultimate stories from data.
- Eager to learn a new industry and new systems, familiarity with Xero, Hubspot, or HighQ is desirable
- Knowledge of database management and data warehousing concepts.

- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

- Confident dealing with different individuals (this role will work closely with our senior leaders in the business).
