What we're looking for
We are seeking a Data Scientist with a passion for AI and machine learning, particularly in the domain of automatic post-production evaluation of generative AI. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing our observability platform, utilizing EvalAI for benchmarking AI models and leveraging production data for continuous training. Additionally, a fundamental understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAGs) and AI agents is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement observability solutions for generative AI models, focusing on automatic post-production evaluation.
- Apply knowledge of RAGs and AI agents to enhance model understanding and performance.
- Prototype solutions rapidly, with an eye towards scalability and real-world applicability, moving beyond theoretical knowledge to hands-on implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI model improvements based on insights from production data.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in AI and machine learning, continuously improving our processes and technologies.
Qualifications
- Phd/ Master’s degree with equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related fields.
- Proven experience in AI/ML, particularly with generative models, model evaluation, and monitoring.
- Familiarity with EvalAI or similar platforms for AI model benchmarking and evaluation.
- Basic knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAGs) and AI agents.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and frameworks/libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch.
- Demonstrated ability to prototype quickly, keeping scalability and practical application in mind.
- Hands-on experience in developing and implementing AI models, not limited to theoretical knowledge.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
