Scope of Work:
Are you looking for that startup environment where you have the opportunity to be a key player within our newest venture? This is an incredible opportunity to imprint your DNA on our newest division. We are looking for someone to join our team who is passionate about customer experience, sales and product development! This is a highly visible role based full-time in our Beverly Hills Headquarters with a collaborative and innovative team. This is an hourly role with a rate of $30/hour.
Operations & Customer Service:
- Prepare and print shipping labels + manage the ecomm sales process from start to finish.
- Pack and process products for shipping.
- Regularly track and report on statistics and inventory (including selling through, inventory, Google Ad ROI, etc).
- Fully oversee supply management and inventory reordering.
- Identify relevant suppliers (including managing relationships with current and sourcing new) for sourcing new products to develop and launch.
- Communicate with suppliers during quoting, purchasing, and inventory transit.
- Manage shipping logistics issues ranging from carrier pickups, lost packages, and damaged shipments to incorrect invoices.
- Lead other departments to understand the growth, opportunities, and overall success of the ecomm and web programs.
- Handle all customer communications (social, web, ecomm, and digital).
Merchandising:
- Responsible for creating and maintaining the visual merchandising of the D2C site (including homepage, landing pages, category pages, product listing/description pages, collections, tags, carousels, discount codes, and any new product discovery features).
- Create and manage the execution of the site merchandising calendar/quarterly framework.
- Own product metadata, such as product tags, attribution, filters, thumbnails, product descriptions, etc.
- Develop and execute a plan to optimize site speed, design, check-out processes, & upsell/cross-sells.
- Manage 3rd party merchandising tools such as Product Reviews & Loyalty programs.
- Become versed in content management systems and its merchandising ability and potential; develop the ability to mine for new merchandising opportunities using content management functionality.
- Assess the competitive landscape to understand emerging online trends and recommend changes to the digital experience as appropriate/relevant.
Your key performance objectives:
- Drive sales and overall P&L impact for the Company business in alignment with business objectives. Grow the program to exceed projected targets and create new trends in terms of growth financially.
- Ensure enhanced customer experience throughout every touchpoint, from browsing the website to receiving their order(s).
- Be highly adaptable in day-to-day business operation functions while upholding policies and procedures.
- Develop and monitor KPIs that support data-driven decision-making around site layout, content placement, site structure, and website content optimization to deliver on business objectives.
You have proven performance in:
- Managing e-commerce and continually optimizing the site(s) and identifying ways to improve the overall presence and success of web presence.
- Working at a startup or small business and comfortable with problem-solving and wearing different hats.
- Fluent in Google/Microsoft suite, in particular Excel, Woocommerce, Shopify, and wordpress
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a strong leadership and project management presence.
Nice to have but not required:
- 1-2 years of e-commerce experience preferred.
- Experience with Woocommerce, Square, Shipstation and Amazon Seller Central highly regarded.
- While not required, experience in the beauty or fashion industry with an e-commerce brand is also highly regarded.
Physical requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing
- Extended periods of computer and phone usage
- Being on-site for all shifts, Typical work schedule is Monday through Friday with some Weekend involvement for occasional team building events or retreats
