Our client, a leading higher education organization is looking for a Graphic Designer.
This role will report into the AVP for Marketing and Communications and is responsible for shaping and maintaining a cohesive visual identity and the creative direction for the organization.
Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
- Produce and direct all visual content for print, digital, and other mediums, including managing production for design, photography, video, and digital, and sourcing and overseeing other professionals where necessary to build multi-platform communication strategies
- Assist with art direction, brand building and project supervision in developing multitiered marketing campaigns, for both prospective and current students, current and prospective donors.
- Collaborate with web team to create and manage content (text, photo, and video)
- Ensure all creative is in alignment with brand strategies and guidelines
- Effectively communicate design concepts to supervisors and colleagues
- Prepare files and print specifications for vendors
Graphic Designer Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree (required), Degree in Communication Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communications or related degree is preferred
- 4+ years of creative design experience
- Previous art direction experience is a plus!
- Must have prior experience at a nonprofit, education, or cultural organization
- Fully proficient in standard design tools include Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.), Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior management, stakeholders, other departments, etc.
- Knowledge of American Jewish history and community, or desire to learn
- High level of confidentiality
Our client offers medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees can enroll in the companys 401k plan, as well as a deferred compensation plan.
