Job Brief
FMCA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Content Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have three or more years of proven work experience in content marketing, with knowledge of organic social media growth strategies, SEO, email communications, and proficiency in various platforms such as HubSpot, WordPress, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Canva. As our Content Marketing Specialist, you will be instrumental in driving FMCA’s growth through strategic marketing initiatives (including co-marketing campaigns), and innovative lead generation strategies. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing & Sales, you will collaborate with contractors and the FMCA team members to produce, release, and market content on our website, social media, and via email.
Roles and Responsibilities
As a content marketing specialist for FMCA, your roles and responsibilities will include:
- Work with our team to develop engaging and compelling content for various marketing channels, including social media posts, blogs, and podcast platforms.
- Edit and release video content using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Create visually appealing graphics using Canva with templates.
- Make website updates using wordpress.
- Monitor social media accounts and generate content for release on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Review and edit marketing emails in HubSpot.
- Develop and execute link-building strategies to increase domain authority.
- Develop and execute social media marketing strategies to grow reach and brand awareness.
- Provide support for our virtual events designed to educate and grow our contact lists.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company goals..
- Collaborate with designers, writers, and other stakeholders to create high-quality materials.
- Be an active participant in marketing campaign strategy.
Qualifications
The Admissions Team Member position typically requires the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-3 years experience in a marketing or communications role.
- Strong proficiency with Google Suite, WordPress, Canva, HubSpot, and Zoom.
- Familiarity with SEO and effective content marketing strategies.
- Confident with social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Excellent communication and organization skills.
- Highly creative and a natural problem solver.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote startup environment, effectively managing competing priorities, ambitious goals, and a fast pace of work.
- Ability to manage time effectively, and set priorities to meet and exceed goals.
- Ability to adapt to rapidly growing, remote first company.
- Located in Chicagoland highly preferred, but not required.
