We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst with a strong foundation in HR engineering and data extraction to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of HR processes, systems, and data structures. This role requires a combination of analytical, technical, and interpersonal skills to effectively bridge the gap between business requirements and IT solutions. Strong experience with Salesforce and Workday required. MUST be strong in SQL for data extraction
Responsibilities:
- Data Extraction and Analysis:Develop and execute data extraction strategies from HR systems to support various business initiatives.
- Analyze and interpret complex HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Create data models and visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
- Business Requirements Gathering:Collaborate with HR stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
- Conduct thorough requirements elicitation and documentation.
- Prioritize and manage competing requirements.
- System Design and Implementation:Participate in the design and development of HR systems and processes.
- Configure and test HR systems to meet business requirements.
- Support system implementations and upgrades.
- Data Quality and Integrity:Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
- Develop and implement data quality standards and procedures.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Process Improvement:Analyze HR processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Project Management:Contribute to project planning, execution, and closure.
- Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst with a focus on HR systems.
- Strong understanding of HR data structures, processes, and terminology.
- Proficiency in data extraction and analysis tools (SQL etc.).
- Experience with HRIS systems (Workday, Salesforce, etc.) preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
