Our family of agencies provides home care to assist with daily living as well as skilled clinical services to treat conditions and manage wellness. PurposeCare is private equity funded and growing quickly across multiple states through mergers and acquisitions as well as organic growth.
We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT (information technology) Program Manager to oversee IT projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IT projects, particularly those related to infrastructure and security, and will partner closely with business leaders and end users to ensure that technology solutions align with business needs. This role is critical in ensuring our healthcare operations are supported by robust, secure, and efficient IT systems.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IT infrastructure and security projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Work closely with end users, clinicians, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand needs, and ensure technology solutions support business objectives.
- In partnership with our managed service provider, oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure projects, including cloud migrations, network upgrades, and server installations.
- Manage IT projects related to mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration of systems and processes.
- Coordinate and manage resources, including internal teams and external vendors, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with IT projects, ensuring business continuity and data protection.
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions and adherence to financial constraints.
- Track project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating project outcomes, capturing lessons learned, and implementing best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, or a related field. Master’s degree or project management certification is a plus.
- Proven track record of managing complex IT projects, with proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and present technical information in a clear, concise manner.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
