Job DescriptionAs the Law Firm Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our firm. You will oversee the daily activities, manage a diverse team, and support the legal and administrative functions of the firm. Your extensive experience in law firm management will be essential in maintaining high standards of performance, client service, and staff development.
ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of approximately 40 employees, including attorneys, paralegals, legal assistants, and administrative staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and facilitate professional development.
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.
Operational Management
- Ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation within the firm.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
- Monitor compliance with firm policies, legal regulations, and best practices.
Client Services
- Oversee client intake, ensuring accurate information gathering and timely responses.
- Maintain high standards of client communication and service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Coordinate client appointments, meetings, and follow-ups, ensuring a smooth client experience.
Case Management Support
- Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of legal documents.
- Maintain accurate and organized client files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal requirements.
- Monitor case progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Administrative Duties
- Manage firm schedules, including staff assignments, meetings, and deadlines.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
- Oversee the maintenance of firm databases, case management systems, and other tools.
QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a management role within a law firm is required.
