MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES (Position Summary)
Responsible for creating, curating, collaborating and managing published content across social media platforms in line with the brand’s direction. This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends, strong communication skills, and the ability to analyze and report on social media metrics to drive engagement and brand loyalty.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness, drive website traffic, and boost engagement across all platforms.
- Content Creation: Collaborating with the creative teams to curate, and manage engaging content, including copywriting, images, videos, tailored to each social media platform.
- Community Management: Monitor, respond to, and engage with the audience in a timely and professional manner to build relationships and foster community.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns, including promotions, contests, and collaborations, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals (eg, database & follower growth).
- Influencer & Brand Partnerships: Ownership of third-party relationships with brands/individuals. Creating clear goals & ROI targets set within budgets. Project manage & collaborate with other departments and creatives to execute.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns, provide insights, and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Brand Connection: Grasp the brand’s core values, articulate its distinctive market position, and proficiently craft copy while guiding the brand’s tone of voice.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging social media platforms, and best practices to keep the company’s social media presence relevant and innovative.
- Photography Management: Monitor and oversee inventory of product samples and coordinate photography requirements accordingly. Take ownership of studio and lifestyle photoshoots, overseeing production as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as Sales, E-commerce, and Customer service, to ensure a cohesive brand message and integrated marketing efforts.
- Ad Management: Assist in managing paid social media advertising campaigns, including, targeting, and performance tracking.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Proven 3+ years’ work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
- Excellent understanding of the major social media platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content.
- Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools.
- Ability to analyze social media metrics and translate data into actionable insights.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong copywriting skills.
- Experience with graphic design tools is advantageous.
- Strong project management and organization skills.
- Knowledge of SEO, PPC, and other digital marketing concepts is advantageous.
