YOUR WORK ENVIRONMENT
As Senior Project Manager, and part of the Store Planning team, you will be responsible for the development of complex luxury projects and for the entire project process from due – diligence, design brief, bidding, procurement, and logistics, to final warranty and close out of the project. You will act as a brand representative responsible to coordinate with internal departments, HQ partners, external consultants, contractors, and suppliers to execute and deliver projects in the highest quality and standards respecting concept guidelines, local requirement, set budget and timelines.
This position reports to the Director of Store Planning.
Your impact
- Supervise and coordinate all architectural and construction activities related to new store, retrofits, minor work and or new flagships.
- Communicate on projects and provide regular update with HQ partners, Americas region Corporate and Retail partners and provide opening report for to the region.
- Collaborate closely with finance on budget analysis and report regularly on budget status. Report to Finance on all final close out and any possible changes to fixed assets. Lead all aspects of first year warranty compliance on all projects after opening.
- Prepare design briefs and kick off per project.
- Prepare project schedule, budget, store planning reports/presentations, and contracts in coordination with the legal team.
- Organize and manage RFP’s, tenders, negotiation and awarding of consultants including general contractors, storefront vendors, millwork, and other suppliers.
- Manage vendors, consultants, GC, and architects and suppliers.
- Review design drawings to ensure consistency with HQ design concept, from preliminary design to shop dwg review and through completion of project.
- Liaise with partners in internal departments including IT/security, Retail, Wholesale, Finance, Logistics, VM, etc. to support project execution and meet deliverables.
- Coordinate operations prior to turnover for store openings.
- Visit construction sites regularly to prepare reports and ensure quality of the construction and millwork installation, identifying any ongoing issues and working toward resolution with project team.
- Oversee the onsite installation of all OFI items including art and furniture placement.
- Manage punch list coordination and onsite walk through with consultants and HQ design partner.
- Collect as-built drawings and keep record of flagship store opening information, finalize financial accounts closures, complete all close out documents, collect lien waivers and support finance to collect TA for the projects.
Profile
Keys for success Education: Bachelor’s degree in architecture and/or construction management Experience: 7-10 years through full time; architecture firms, construction industry, other retail planning depts Previous experience working with millwork shop drawings, construction drawings, material selection, space planning and layouts. Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Sketch Up Experience in luxury/fashion business a plus Competencies: Understanding of construction documents Possess strong sense of ownership and responsibility. Ability to travel up to 30% Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-dimensional environment. Superior organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Detail oriented, highly organized Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with all levels of the organization including senior leadership and retail associates Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holiday

The compensation for this position ranges from $125,000- $150,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience. In addition, there is a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks, and a retirement plan with employer contribution.
