POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager, FP&A is a vital part of the G6 Hospitality Finance & Accounting team and is accountable for financial planning activities such as budgeting/forecasting, trend analysis, project analytics, and cross-functional communications. This position reports to the Director, FP&A and is responsible for providing Finance SME guidance to the EC and department budget owners as well as supervisory support to one Analyst and two Consultants tasked with financial management of Corporate Support departments, preparing forecasts, and sharing insights developed from rigorous analysis. A high level of interpersonal skill and technical capability as well as a solid understanding of financial concepts is necessary for the success in the role. The Manager, FP&A will be given the opportunity to lead initiatives, be innovative, and function independently on a variety of both individual tasks and team activities. § Partner with cross-functional department leadership to develop annual budget and quarterly forecast updates
§ Quality control financial models and analysis prior to distributing to senior leaders & external customers
§ Drive continuous improvement on processes and tools by championing efforts cross-functionally and within the team
§ Support financial management and scenario planning activities for Corporate Support departments
§ Apply skills and expertise across the organization in support of Financial Planning and Analysis department goals
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
§ Results-driven with a strong coaching and continuous improvement mindset
§ Three years of direct experience in Banking, Corporate Finance, or Strategy
§ Advanced proficiency with productivity tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
§ Proficiency with financial systems and business intelligence tools (Oracle, OBIEE/Smart View, Tidemark/Longview, Power BI)
§ Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with excellent verbal and written communication skills
§ Desire to improve skillset in oneself and amongst teammates
§ Preferred: MBA / CPA or CPA-eligible / members or candidates in the CFA program
