Software Developer II
ROLE
We need a Software Developer II for the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific. NIWC Pacific provides advanced technology and integrated solutions to support the mission of the U.S. Navy and other Department of Defense entities. Your role as a Software Developer II for the NIWC Pacific will be to design, develop, and maintain innovative software solutions. This is a full-time opportunity. Responsibilities
- Design and develop software applications
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
- Test and debug software to ensure functionality
- Collaborate with other developers and stakeholders
- Maintain and update software applications as needed
Required Skills/Experience
- 5 years of professional experience in software development
- Proficiency in software design, coding, and testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Required Education / Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
DESIRED EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS
- Currently hold a DoD CSWF IAT Level 1 certification OR all of the below baseline certifications;
- A+ CE
- CCNA-Security
- CND
- Network+ CE
- SSCP
- OR; Currently hold a DoD CSWF IAT Level 2 certification OR all of the below baseline certifications;
- CCNA-Security
- CySA+
- GICSP
- GSEC
- Security+ CE
- CND
- SSCP
LOCATION
CLEARANCE

- Must handle sensitive information in accordance with DoD regulations
- Annual security refresher training required
