Ethos Group, an award-winning, full-service strategic consulting, marketing, and communications agency, is seeking interns for its Fall 2024 Internship program.
Our program exposes interns to a wide variety of business practices within strategic communications, marketing, sports, and entertainment. Interns will have the opportunity to work cross-departmentally on projects and research addressing client and business needs. Ideal candidates are ambitious, detail-oriented self-starters with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
The Fall Internship session runs from September 2024 through Decemeber 2024; however, we accept applications on a rolling basis for all sessions. This is an unpaid internship in exchange for academic credit only.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assisting account teams with media monitoring of industry news and specific client press
- Helping to draft internal and external materials inclusive of press clippings, press breaks, call sheets, proposals, and bespoke materials for additional client and company needs
- Creating and maintaining monthly reports as well as media, brand, and seeding lists
- Tracking all client press coverage, clipping press hits, and assisting with monthly reports
- Conducting industry trend and background research, staying up-to-date on current events
- Identifying media opportunities for print, digital, and broadcast media
- Brainstorming pitch angles and drafting pitch copy
- Assisting with social media management and digital strategies for clients and the company, including content creation
- Collaborate with fellow interns to develop and execute our Intern Project, due at the end of each semester.
- Collaborating with Ethos Group executives on special projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduating with a bachelor’s degree between December 2024-2028 and eligible to receive academic credit for internship
- Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Graphic Design, or other related majors preferred
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to anticipate needs and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet tight deadlines, demonstrating accuracy in the execution of assigned tasks
- Passion and curiosity for the Sports and Entertainment Industries
- Previous marketing, social media, or communications internship experience is a plus
