Job Title: Excel Database Specialist
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract (6 months +)
Hours: 40 hours per week, Onsite 3-4 days a week
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Excel Database Specialist to join our engineering department on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong database skills, proficiency in Excel, and knowledge of VLOOKUP. You will also be responsible for storing and extracting repair documents using Adobe PDF. This role requires good communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and the willingness to ask questions and seek clarification when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, maintain, and update databases in Excel to support the engineering department's needs.
- Utilize VLOOKUP and other advanced Excel functions to manage and analyze data effectively.
- Store and extract repair documents into Adobe PDF format.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to understand data requirements and deliver accurate, timely solutions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy at all times.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like VLOOKUP.
- Strong database management skills and experience in creating and maintaining databases.
- Familiarity with Adobe PDF for document storage and extraction.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Not afraid to ask questions and seek assistance when needed.
