Our platform matches families with pediatric/youth therapists to provide care for children, teens and young adults with a range of conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, as well as other personal challenges and experiences.
We are a growing, venture-backed early-stage company with a vision of providing more effective and more accessible care for every child, teen and young adult in need. Our network of specialist providers help children, teens and young adults learn new behaviors and healthy coping strategies to reach life-changing milestones faster and build life-long skills and resilience for a brighter future.
We launched in fall of 2023, have product-market fit, and are quickly scaling revenue.
Your Role at Emora Health:
We are looking for a driven engineering leader who can build 0-1, establish and build on top of scalable tech infrastructure, and develop world-class products to improve the experience of our clinicians, patients, and internal operations.
What You’ll Do:
- Serve as a strategic leader and hands-on engineer who can build and manage the company’s technology stack, with the ability to move quickly in a startup environment
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of internal tools to enable seamless, data-driven clinical operations
- Build clinician-facing and patient-facing tools to improve clinical care quality, efficiency, and user experience
- Develop our data stack, building tools to scalably track, analyze, and report on key metrics to drive clinical and operational decisions
- Manage API-based integrations for seamless data interoperability and communication between platforms
- Communicate the technology roadmap, vision, and functionality to non-technical stakeholders (internal and external)
- Establish standards and ensure compliance (e.g. HIPAA) and accuracy for the company’s technology performance, including cloud architecture, data warehouse, and communication technologies
- Guide in the prioritization and structure of product development across different areas of the business
Who You Are:
- 4+ years of relevant 0-1 full-stack development experience with user-centric, data-driven applications
- 2+ years of leading or working alongside a team of engineers in a high-growth organization with evolving products
- Proven ability to define technical requirements and system architecture with clarity on feasibility, time, cost and impact
- Experience managing and configuring IT infrastructure in a cloud-based environment (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
- Experience with API development and integrations
- Experience with frontend and backend development preferred
- Experience with HIPAA-compliant software products and services preferred, but not required
- Ability to perform code reviews and review/approve system architecture and database structures
- Startup experience in a fast-paced development environment preferred, but not required
