The opportunity:
Content creation is the backbone of our business. This is an incredible opportunity for a skilled creative to ideate and build graphical content that supports our mission to be an unwavering voice of gratitude for America. As our in-house Marketing Graphic Designer, you will create visual assets for all our digital marketing needs including digital ads, email marketing, website imagery and social media posts. This role requires a passionate creative who excels at bringing brands to life across a wide range of mediums. A flexible and fast moving attitude is key - we need a mountain of content to test, try, and get feedback on.
This is a full-time, contract remote position. Preference is for candidates in Pacific, Mountain or Central time zones.
Your accountabilities:
- Ideate, develop and produce visual graphic content (static and motion) in a holistic creative direction that meet the needs of all our digital marketing channels (email marketing, social media, digital ads, ecommerce site).
- Editing, cropping, color correction, retouching of lifestyle and studio imagery for use in ecommerce.
- Editing video content for use across our digital marketing channels.
- Development of creative templates, standards, guides and processes.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to understand project requirements and objectives and ensure that all designs meet our brand standards and align with project briefs and brand guidelines.
- Presenting design concepts and ideas to internal teams, and incorporating feedback into final designs.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest design trends and strategies, integrating new resources/techniques where needed.
Key Considerations:
- You’ll be working closely with a Brand Marketing Manager, Video Content Creator, Marketing Project Manager, VP Marketing and Social Media Coordinator. Your primary role is creating a mountain of graphic content for our ecommerce site, social media, digital ads, and email marketing.
- You are expected to manage your time efficiently while proactively alerting others well in advance of deadlines if deliverables are in jeopardy of being completed.
- You will collaborate cross effectively with a small team and adapt to rapid fire requests and short timelines. We are a newer brand so expect change and adjustment as we test to see what works.
Qualifications:
- Experience within the apparel industry is strongly desired.
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
- 3+ years experience as a graphic designer within a marketing team.
- Proficiency in design and motion graphics software: Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.), Figma, Affinity, etc
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
