Community is looking for a Digital Project Manager to join our creative family.
Reporting into the SVP of Digital Product & Marketing, The Digital Project Manager ensures the efficient and effective development and delivery of our digital solutions. This position is a pivotal role that proactively and seamlessly delivers against client and team mandates. This person will have exceptional project management and communication skills, as well as a proven track record managing concurrent projects - delivering on time, on budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
In addition to project-based work, you will also be a part of an ongoing agency-wide effort to develop best practices and standards for digital project management.
Your primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead and manage digital solutions across channels, including web builds, responsive site redesigns, ecommerce, Email, Social and Digital Marketing, etc - from planning through to implementation
- Plan for and prioritize deliverables and resources across all projects, based on scope of work and project goals
- Creation and ownership of project scope, detailed project plans, priorities, deadlines, deliverables, work back schedules, status documents and minutes to meetings in collaboration with team
- Proactively monitor projects to anticipate potential risks and identify solutions
- Organize and lead requirements gathering, specification development, IA and any other necessary documentation
- Be the internal resource to communicate with clients and internal teams working collaboratively with all teams within the agency
- Propose innovative digital solutions for new projects and efficiencies as part of the business development process
- Ensure changing resource and project requirements are documented, understood, and clearly presented internally and/or to client
- Lead and maintain QA for projects - review and test all deliverables with keen attention to detail and quality
- Schedule resources
- Ensure strong communication with internal team and/or client to maintain update on status, risks and issues
- Share and implement project management best practices internally
- Manage the integration of vendor responsibilities and track/review vendor deliverables
- Lead internal post-project reviews, analysis and ongoing
Experience, skills & requirements:
- +5 years of managing digital projects, integrate agency experience is an asset
- PMP or Project Management Certificate desirable
- Excellent communications skills – comfort level with all levels of management and teams including client liaison and excels in verbal communication/writing skills
- Strong attention to detail with deep technical experience
- Enthusiastic problem-solver who thrives on being engaged, leading and working on both large and small-scale digital projects
- Succeeds in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Solution-oriented work, positive team player
- Excellent conflict resolution skills, and proven ability to negotiate a positive outcome for team and affected clients
- Well-developed leadership, mediation, negotiation, presentation skills
- Superior time management skills
- Extremely organized and able to keep multiple projects running on time and on budget
- Excels in a fast-paced environment
- WordPress and Shopify experience
- Experience using JIRA, MailChimp (and other mail platforms)
- Undergraduate or College degree in Business, Advertising, or a technology-related discipline
- Proficient with MS Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Photoshop
