Role Overview:
In this role, you will be pivotal to the team's success by supporting project delivery across multiple technical and digital initiatives. Your project timelines and deliverables management will be instrumental in helping our clients work efficiently and strategically to achieve their business objectives.
The project manager will oversee the successful delivery of complex projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will be the central point of contact for clients and internal teams, ensuring that all project objectives are met on time and within budget. Your leadership will drive process improvements, foster collaboration, and ensure that resources are effectively managed across all stages of the project lifecycle.
What you will be doing:
Project Ownership:
- Take complete ownership of end-to-end project delivery, ensuring consistent adhesion to timelines, scope, and budget constraints.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including developers, designers, and technical leads, to ensure alignment with client expectations and technical feasibility.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and the project team, anticipating needs, addressing concerns, and providing expert guidance to resolve issues.
- Maintain open lines of communication with all stakeholders, delivering regular updates and fostering transparency at all levels.
Process Improvement:
- Develop and implement streamlined processes to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness, continually refining these systems based on feedback and findings.
- Maintain and improve project documentation standards and propose enhancements to governance, tools, and templates.
Technical Expertise and Risk Management:
- Maintain a strong understanding of relevant technologies, including web and mobile development, to provide technical leadership and guidance.
- Identify potential risks early in the project lifecycle and implement proactive mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
- Promptly address project issues, ensuring that any challenges are resolved swiftly and effectively to keep the project on track.
What We Are Looking For:
Project Management: Over 3 years of proven experience in project management of comprehensive digital solutions, ideally within an agency or product-focused organization, with a strong emphasis on launching web and mobile applications.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement: Experience building and nurturing relationships with senior stakeholders. Skilled in influencing and collaborating across cross-functional teams to align on projects, ensuring successful outcomes.
Requirements Gathering & Communication: Demonstrated ability to gather detailed business and technical requirements from clients, communicate them effectively to engineering teams, and refine them based on ongoing client feedback. Should have a proven track record of managing project deadlines and ensuring that technical leaders have clear, actionable insights into client needs.
Technical & Process Expertise: A good understanding of the software development lifecycle, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices, and various project management methodologies, including agile. Competent in utilizing project management and collaboration tools such as Basecamp/Monday.com, Jira, Confluence and Google Suite.
Problem-Solving & Ownership: Strong analytical mindset. Exhibits a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a strong sense of ownership over project outcomes.
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and clients effectively. Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments and capable of thriving under pressure.
