Job Title: Excel Modeler (Sales and Operations Planning, SQL & Tableau)

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Excel Modeler with experience in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP), SQL, and Tableau to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent modeling skills, and a deep understanding of S&OP processes, SQL databases, and planning functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain complex Excel models for forecasting, planning, and analysis.
Automate data processing and reporting tasks using advanced Excel functions and VBA.
Create dynamic dashboards and visualizations to support decision-making processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data for S&OP processes.
Develop models to support demand forecasting, inventory planning, and forecasting.
Assist in the creation of S&OP meeting materials, including data analysis and presentation preparation.
Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from various databases.
Integrate SQL data with Excel models and Tableau to ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting.
Assist in the maintenance and improvement of SQL databases to support business needs.
Develop Tableau dashboards to visualize complex data sets and support FP&A activities (nice to have).
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across various reporting tools and platforms.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Prepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from various departments.
Experience:
Proven experience as an Excel Modeler or Analyst with a focus on S&OP.
Strong SQL skills with the ability to write complex queries and work with large datasets.
Experience with Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including functions, pivot tables, and VBA.
Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
Proficiency in Tableau for data visualization and dashboard creation.
Familiarity with S&OP processes and best practices.
Experience with creating data models in Excel using Access and BigQuery.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
Knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting methods.
