CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE - HIRING IMMEDIATELY
Denim startup brand out of Vernon, Ca seeking a reliable, energetic, detail oriented Customer Service Associate to handle all customer service related tasks in service of our Wholesale and DTC accounts. The basic responsibilities include order and inventory processing, warehouse + team communication and all front-end communication of the sales process that includes but not limited to:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Order Management, Maintenance, and Allocation for all wholesale orders – ensure wholesale orders are received, processed and shipped in a timely manner
- Order Management, Maintenance, and Allocation for EDI orders – ensure EDI orders are received, processed and shipped in a timely manner, including all ecommerce and wholesale orders
- Order Management, Maintenance, and Allocation for all Direct to Consumer orders - ensuring all DTC orders are received, processed and shipped in a timely manner
- Production PO creation, input, WIP management, in collaboration with Production Manager
- Communication with Wholesale Sales team and Wholesale Accounts
- Invoice WIP management ensuring orders are invoiced in a timely manner
- Receive Production orders into inventory
- Customer inquiry responses, troubleshooting and customer care
- Assess inventory availability and compare to production schedules
- Prepare orders for shipping and invoicing
- Communicate with warehouse regarding order shipments
- Analyze weekly sales and inventory availability reports
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in using customer service software and systems (ex. Full Circle, Apparel Magic)
- Knowledge of the denim industry is preferred
- Knowledge of traditional sales cycle, selling, account management required
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and meet multiple strict deadlines
- Excellent grammatical, proofreading, and editing skills
- Bilingual English & Spanish is a plus
- Working knowledge of desktop publishing software (Adobe Etc.)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software or equivalent
- Able to work in an office/manufacturing environment daily
- Ability to work independently in a decentralized, remote environment while maintaining a collaborative mindset, when needed
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual
