Every Learner Everywhere's mission is to help institutions use new technology to innovate teaching and learning, with the ultimate goal of improving student outcomes for Black, Latino, and Indigenous students, poverty-affected students, and first-generation students.
Every Learner Everywhere is a network of partner organizations with expertise in evaluating, implementing, scaling, and measuring the efficacy of education technologies, curriculum and course design strategies, teaching practices, and support services that personalize instruction for students in blended and online learning environments.
Our collaborative work to advance equity in higher education centers on the transformation of postsecondary teaching and learning. We build capacity in colleges and universities to improve student outcomes with digital learning through direct technical assistance, timely resources and toolkits, and ongoing analysis of institution practices and market trends.

Every Learner Everywhere Technical Consultant Scope of Work
is seeking a remote consultant to improve their business processes. This includes our instance of Salesforce, Smartsheet, Excel, and other technical software. Work expectations are estimated to be completed between September and November 15, 2024. The pay rate for this contract is up to $100/hour. The expectation is that the contractor will estimate their hours ahead of time for each major sub-project, but overall there will not be more than 100 hours in the contract. There are possibilities for extension beyond these hours, as new projects arise.
Sample skills required for this contract:
- Standard Salesforce skills (using the Nonprofit package) - creating and updating reports, creating and updating dashboards, working with contacts, organizations, campaigns, and our custom created fields and connections, update field properties
- Advance Salesforce skills - create from scratch and modify automations and flows, troubleshoot and fix problems with only what is available in the system, identify duplication of processes and simplify as needed
- Smartsheet skills - heavy use of formulas, automations, forms and integrations across sheets, work with calendars, summary formulas, reports, creating dashboards that automatically update
- Data entry
- Desire to learn and research new software for unmet needs in current software
Duties across multiple platforms.
Salesforce
- Conduct an audit of our Salesforce instance to understand gaps, including all automations in place currently. We use the Nonprofit Salesforce package and most of our fields have been customized. We are using Zapier integration between Smartsheet and Salesforce, and SyncApps between Constant Contact and Salesforce.
- Update customized fields.
- Create new automations for missing processes
- Update and create “How to” documents for any changes
- Help improve reporting - update and create new reports; update or create new dashboards
- Create one visual diagram of the Salesforce processes and how they integrate in other software
Smartsheet
- Update the Metrics Dashboard with information from Smartsheet, Salesforce, Google Analytics - use of Excel will also be required
- Improve automating this type of information
- Support removing duplication, improving processes and increasing transparency
- Restructure the multiple dashboards for the network by selectively adding widgets into the main one
- Create one visual diagram on Smartsheet processes and how changes affect other sheets
- Create a services inquiries tracker & update the information in it
Zapier
- Troubleshoot and fix integration issues with Zapier
