What you will be doing:
- Write engaging and persuasive headlines, descriptions, and collateral for all communications
- Create concepts that are extendable into campaigns and synchronize extensions across other collateral.
- Interpret and adapt all information provided for each initiative, including creative briefs and other supporting documents.
- Strategically and effectively communicates key messages, benefits, and details in alignment with creative briefs, and support of broader brand and business objectives
- Develop compelling copy that differentiates the consumer brand and stays true to the brand voice and attributes.
- Ensure copy is right for our customers and helps to aggressively drive key initiatives.
- Takes ownership of projects from start to finish, including flagging and addressing issues before execution, and working with the design team to review cop before internal presentations and within final designs
Experience:
- 3-4 minimum years of copywriting experience in the digital space
- Digital portfolio demonstrating strategic and creative strength
- English proficiency and excellent grammatical, writing, and editorial skills
- Experience implementing learnings from digital metrics (email open rates, conversion, A/B testing, etc.) a plus
- Excellent writing skills and a keen eye for detail, meticulously editing, proofreading, and fact-checking all copies to ensure accuracy, proper grammar, and consistent messaging
- Excellent communication skills, consistently providing updates on progress to internal teams on numerous, simultaneous projects
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of advertising techniques and marketing principles
- Flexibility and resilience, including the ability to adapt to changing/uncertain conditions
- Ability to react quickly to changing priorities with a consistent sense of urgency
- Keep abreast of industry best practices and trends in marketing copywriting, continuously evolving your skills to stay at the forefront of your craft
